England 2005 Defender 90 Td5 XS CSW Bonatti Grey
I drove from Mendip to Sussex on Saturday.
The River Frome had burst its banks in Frome and about 200 yards of the road was flooded about 18" deep..
Chassis must be nice and clean now. Very Happy

For the last few weeks our weather systems have been driven in by a SW Wind which means we are getting warm air.

Great if it lasts (apart from it usually brings rain), however, if we do suddenly get a change of wind direction and it comes in from the North, normal winter will resume.

This is why we won't get the same weather that the states have. As for the old wives tale about if it snows in New York, we get it. New York usually has snow of some sorts every year.

Back to our weather though, it does seem that the seasons are shifting and we get deep winter later in the year. Remember late March last year?

Bright sunshine in Munich - has been for weeks. Feels like late Autumn/early Spring.
Wish the ground was a bit harder though - makes it easier to pick the dog's mess up Rolling Eyes Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Our daffies are about to flower.
Last year they bloomed over Christmas and the year before it was the 2nd December.
