I had the same issue a few years ago on my td5, after thinking about it I shortened the bumperette, it did involve some welding but did not take long.

First four do a version designed to fit with the wheel carrier, the driver side one is shorter and bolts on to the next set of holes along the crosmember

This is an old WH carrier combined with a set of bumperettes from Goole Surplus, no issues fitting and also room get a full set of NAS lights in which many set-ups will not allow.

Not a Mantec but I too had problems fitting the bumperette after my swingaway was fitted. I just measured up, ground off the old 90 degree brackets and welded new ones on.

Is there a wheel carrier that will sit happily with the Terrafirma corner bumperettes on a 110?
Been offered a set bumperettes but I would really like a wheel carrier too |

The OP asked the same question re a Mantec swingaway. BPman responded that some adjustment had to be made. Unfortunately a lot of swingaways utilise the same mounting holes as the bumperettes. 'Choose carefully and adapt' is the key here I think. There are some pictures back in this thread that the combination does work.
A few 'pointers'.......

Thanks for the pointers. It looks like there are combinations that work.
I was looking to see if there was one specifically for the Terrafirma bumperettes as those are the ones i've been offered. If there isn't a carrier compatible with the Terrafirma ones i'll look into the other ones you've pointed out. Thanks for the tips! |

Bumperettes are relatively cheap, swingaways aren't. Try to make the bumperettes fit the swingaway, not the other way round. Life will be less complicated.

Agreed.
Just thought it worth seeing if a carrier existed that would sit with the Terrafirma bumperettes without any need for modification. Soo much to do and so little time i guess! |
