Attempted theft - Ware, Herts

Not mine, but local.........extract taken from my Neighbourhood Watch update, address details removed:

Between 17:00 on Saturday 12th and 10:00 on Sunday 13th October, offender(s) have approached a Land Rover, which was left parked and secure on **** *** Road. Offender(s) have disconnected the leads to the car horn and without causing damage, have managed to open the driver side door, this has triggered off the immobiliser alarm, leading to offender(s) to flee the scene.

Time for some more additional security I think ! Td5 110 HD Hardtop.......not quite standard

Not sure Chris,

Think it's a late Td5.............guess the vehicle might have had a second alarm on it ! Td5 110 HD Hardtop.......not quite standard

Getting very close to home now, what with mine getting taken last month, these people clearly have moved into our local area and looking to steal what ever Defender they can, and if i got the same email as Neighbourhood watch email as you Jim thats not exactly as quite road, so they clearly have some front
