TD5 to Carling Hazard
lost many hours trying to get it wired , the colours I have are different to the guide that came with it , I have a record of where wires came from on std LR switch but can find no guide as to where they go, ie top right wire to position 8 on Carling the other problem is 9 wires on LR switch going to only 8 positions on the MudStuff carling switch . Should two of them be spiced if so which ones ????

any ideas ?

Thanks, also stripped back to original loom, kinda helps having the correct colours to look at. Now all working as it should, not that hazards mean much in the UAE other than possibly to tell everyone it is foggy!

How have you linked the old wires to the new Carling switch? Have you chopped the wires and resolder or found another way? 1999 Defender TD5 110

Just put connectors on he original wires into the back or the Carling hazard
