Alpine ISO adapter 2012 (2.2) Puma - not needed
All, I've bought an Alpine head unit CDE-133bt to update my original head unit. Whilst it looks like I have standard ISO adapter supplied which plug straight into the Defender loom, I'm not getting any power through to the unit. Although I've searched, I can't find if my January 2012 vehicle needs a head unit ISO adapter, of if I simply need to change a couple of pins over to get it to work. Currently a bit dead in the water as far as getting the unit up and running, and have limited time to sort it out before heading off to the alps (like, today!).

So, do I need an ISO adapter? Can I change the pins over easily? Anyone got a solution?
Thanks,

Thank you - I'd been looking at that.

So, good news is, I sorted it about 5 minutes later, bad news is I'm a complete idiot. More haste, less speed etc. etc.

The 2012 standard wiring loom (MY 2012, January 19th!) is 'standard ISO' compliant and will plug directly into a Parrot, or Alpine head unit. You just need to make sure the bullet connectors in the loom supplied with the Alpine are all connected together.....ffs!!! I was worried that my 110 was a crossover vehicle and had something weird going on. Not a bit of it. Take your time and look at what is going on, and its all perfect straight out of the box....
