Just arrived home after an 8 hour drive with a stop in Bath, would have messaged sooner but not a hint of reception for a week (bliss). What a great week, perfect weather and plenty of happy miles in the landy! Kids loved the seats (which I will post pics of soon I promise) first real family adventure with both kids, all very happy.

I actually ended up cycling the camel trail from padstow to bodmin so I got to see quite a bit of the river. I'll get some pics on probably Monday but for now I'm off to bed! Michael was just telling me a story about a friend of his who slept with a land rover, lonely nights in the desert..

Hi Guys
many thanks to War Pig & Little Tom for visiting Cornwall and glad we could oblige with the weather !
it has been a bumper summer this year with some fab sunshine and even a few good waves on the beach - which is not usual in August! I'm sure that Unas will have some fun as well!

There is always something to do to keep the family busy at any time of the year - its not just beach & sand castles! Cool

For those coming down later in the year the Eden project has fitted one of the longest Zip wires in Europe, and you get to go about 60mph from what I hear! Shocked

The cycle trails & bike hire shops are open all year - and there rare several routes you can take - some on redundant railway lines - such as the camel trail - others on more adventurous routes across Dartmoor or the mineral tramway across Cornwall from coast to coast. Very Happy

plus we have some nice - but short off road trails to get your wheels muddy.

ok, we're lucky as we live here & dont have to go home afterwards!! Thumbs Up Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html
