LR warranty query

Hi Mike

I've got a MY09 110 Puma and I'm finally having the corners of windscreen surround replaced under warranty at the dealers due to corrosion.

The windcreen hinges are also very corroded but LR apparently insist that they are not covered by the warranty. I understand, however, that others have had them replaced by LR and I wondered if I'm missing something?
