Ladder for 110 X-Tech
I am looking for some help finding a suitable ladder for my 110 X-Tech to be fixed to the rear. Some won't be compatible with the LED rear lights, hence my question.

Essentially, I have a Maggiolina Airtop roof tent which I'd like to be able to access via a fixed ladder.

Thanks for reading this post and for your help. www.j33per.net

Hi Eugenio,

Welcome to the forum and the bright side Mr. Green

Post up a picture of the rear of your X Tech so we have an idea of what is in the way

Regards

Matt

Edit: I presume by LED rear lights you mean the standard issue ones rather than work lights ?

In which case I recommend the Hannibal ladder, clamps to the gutter and has a bracket that fits through the body top capping. There is also an additional step that fits to the bolts holding the rear body to the chassis, but you don't have to use that as you probably have a NAS step. Picture to follow when I'm at a desk top

How are you mounting the roof tent on to the vehicle?

If on roof bars and mounted so tent is right at back of vehicle then depending on how agile you are there may be shall we say access difficulties as ladder is not central. Made worse if you like a tipple!

If mounted on a rack with tent forward you have a platform to stand on so access problems o away

UK made ladder from Patriot roof racks gutter to chassis should suffice. Look at their website as they have a few options. Any questions speak to Paul Hogarth at Patriot. Paul has made special one off ladders etc for our customers.

Brendan, do you do the Patriot access ladders? I can't find any on your site. I'm after one that does gutter to chassis ideally one that involves no drilling.... 2013 Aintree Green 110 Station Wagon SX
