1984 Defender 110 300 Tdi DCPU Stornoway Grey

Oulton Park BTCC

Was there all weekend , following Welch Motorsport BTCC team, and spotted a couple of 90's 110's whilst walking around. A dealer's show vehicle, which was shocking to be honest ( the finish )....SVX 90 soft top. Half the milatry rollover bar missing, Svx front end with RDX Led lights where the fog lights go, and the same on the rear....Also the removal of rear bulkhead was bad, no strenghthing bar just some pop-riveted sheets of metal on the end of seat base bits......Then behind the pits in the car park a VERY CLEAN 90 with the plate D111 RTY............Was a good/hot and busy weekend, my next one, i'll be taking the Irb 90 BEN10 for a look round.... Putting Dreams on Drives at JLR Solihull..

We watched the last 2 races, on the front row of the grid was amazing

who's ya muckka then...my cousins lad is ESSEX.....Calvin....also a spanner man for DAN Putting Dreams on Drives at JLR Solihull..

He works for a few teams when BTCC isn't on, including going over the UAE all the time.

he's the main man....Was a good weekend, was doing well in last race until he got nudged off by Adam Morgan..The noise at the start is awesome, and brill to watch. Putting Dreams on Drives at JLR Solihull..

It makes a difference to watch when you know people involved. I worked at TCR on Ginetta and Clios, so I like to follow Tordoff in btcc as well and Lloyd in the Porsche as they came from Clio cup..

In fact.. Back on topic... There was a 110 parked near cascades with people using it as a viewing platform.

yeah spotted that up for sale.....must have been standing by you at the start then of 3rd race. We were right by wELCH on the grid, shouting HIYA to Calvin ........ Putting Dreams on Drives at JLR Solihull..
