Hi supacat.

The canopy is from Exmoor trim its a Mohair one, the 130 came with the cream vinyl type as standard ( you can now have a black one as a cost option here )

We have a box inside the tub, that has storage for stuff, and a drop down fridge, overall its been very good at keep the dust out, it still gets in but to as bad as you would think. We are looking at options to change to a sealed box, ie custom job or a Quadtech for future trips.

We sell alot of roof tents here, camping, caravan, touring is huge compared to the UK.

How about one of these canopies..

Very nice, but its not perfect, reason being is we have a fridge drop slide, and all these rear box body's still sit high, the only one that seems to work is the nene overland one, that cuts the tub down, however very expensive. 2010 Defender 130 HCPU

Looks too short for a 130 Whistle Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

Ditto above really.

What a beauty! There is nothing quite like a well set up 130. I doubt they would make a good daily driver over here in the UK due to their length and turning circle, but apart from that - I WANT ONE!

I do wonder if Land Rover will continue to sell this type of vehicle in future, when you look at how many of the other brands of pcik up truck sell in the UK you'd think LR would want into that makret - L200s, Navaras, Hi-Lux etc etc.

What we don't need is a lifestyle accessory Land Rover pick up - just a mildly updated Defender will make a very good Defender replacement thank you!

Hoping to reach Australia overland one day en-route to my sister in law who lives in New Zealand!

SGH - mate where is that canopy from? Did I see that on a blue 130 in LRO magazine a few months back used by some guys that clean large scale water tanks?

Cheers, Guy.

NAS lights suit it. 130s (especially) need 4 wheel steering.

I would like one of those 6 x 6 ones made back awhile. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender
