I had a mate with a 2.5 litre 4 cylinder petrol in a series 3 that had been tuned up a bit, it went very well and sounded like a sewing machine compared to any diesel, not great on fuel though as it only averaged about 18mpg DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,
I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |

I'm in exactly the same situation DLK I would urge you to wait with the conversion until the legislation definitely comes into effect.
I will probably have to sell the landy though as the petrol conversion, high road tax and petrol prices and consumption will ruin me. Scaling the real deal. |

I know... It's an unfair deal that was made upon false information. But I do fear we will have to deal with it.
I will either sell the 90 to someone in England or convert it to a petrol car. last year I drove less than 1500 km's with it so fuel costs will be much higher but do able. The thought of a big V8 is quite nice. The thought of sparkplugs, dizzy's, and all that crap isn't..

Multi port injection? If i guessed it right, what does it mean? That you can convert a diesel to petrol? Scaling the real deal.
