Hmmm, you've a good point about Exige owners taking off the hard top Shocked

Enjoy - they are both fabulous vehicles!

Think I past the 1.500 mark already in the few days I have my 130. Mr. Green
Btw, I'll probably won't be driving a lot in the Caterham anymore. Not because I don't like to, but nowadays, I'd rather take my dogs somewhere for a hike. Two dogs don't fit the Caterham.
Do you use the Elise as a daily?

No, the defender and Elise are both weekend toys. My daily drive is a Volvo V50 (Company car..)

The whole axle swap job is behind me, and I noticed a great offer on eBay. A UK seller listed a reconditioning service for LT230 transfer boxes. He had them listed as buy it now or bid on them.

I put in a bid of EUR 200,00 and WON! Shipping to the Netherlands included I got a reconditioned box with a 1.22 ratio for EUR 300,00. Bit of a bargain I think. Not even need to send my old one back.

It did get slightly damaged in transit, but I think changing the bent bolt will be a small job (any tips?)

Does anyone know a good tutorial how to change the LT230?

Well it looks like i might have to sell the 90. Our f*cked up government decided a car has to be 40 years + to stay tax exempt. This would mean from EUR 0,00 tax per year i will have to pay EUR 2100,00 from the 1st of januari 2014.

For petrol cars in the age of 25 to 40 yrs you will pay 25% of the normal roadtax. But for diesel and lpg cars you will pay the full 100%

If anyone is seriuosly interested let me know.
