Saw one of those copy Disco 1 ones in Swindon on Friday afternoon. It just looked far too shiney shiney with absolutely straight panels, pristene stickers that just looked like they'd been slapped on and an imitation roofrack. It just looked odd with no patina or battle scars.

Well i dont know if this is all related but over the last week traveling the A9 north from Stirling to Perth ive been passing convoys of Army german plate G wagons, Irish plated Land rovers and riot vehicles and various other race prepped land rovers either driven or towed.
I had not heard of any show so presumed it was some army thing.

The Camel Trophy Owners Club had an outing yesterday.

From what I know, they have to be 'Official' vehicles to be a part of the club. Some are in better condition than they were when they left the Factory so don't let that make you think it is an imitation.
