No I can't say as I do, perhaps it was when I was busy pulling an axe out of my leg
Was that the one you were competing against the laser light show just down the road? |

What do you run them on? Will Coleman fuel do the trick?

what about aspen4 fuel, it smells the same as coleman fuel, available from lawnmower centres and is 1/4 of the price, 5 litres for £15.99
Our coleman lanterns and cookers run a treat on the stuff ... even in the cold. |

I use unleaded in my Coleman stuff and no problems so far Is it still easy to get paraffin ? I seem to remember it being delivered when I was a kid, and also there was a pump at the petrol station. I wouldn't know where to look for it nowadays (obviously still out there though). I have a couple of Vapalux lanterns (as we used them in the Army, and they were also made in Halifax until such time as the whole factory was sold to Korea - where they are still made). They are great, run on parafin and pretty robust too.
Proper camping sitting listening to them hiss gently...... Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond..... |
