I have the blanket, when you order the site asks for which vehicle.
also been watching the temp gauge and after 500 miles of mixed driving it always stays at normal temp. no issues, just a quieter engine. BM52

I don't know how to refer to links but if you look at page 2 of the tdci section there's a thread entitled "noisekiller engine blanket highly recommended" and I have a picture of it there. As the title suggests I highly recommend it ....

I don't have a Puma, but I have just this evening fitted the largest one to a Td5 and even that wasn't as big as I thought it would be.

I'd take their advice though.

what you can't see in the pic is the big flap that goes down the back of the engine so its bigger than it looks.
Also since taking that pic I have 're moulded' it a bit so that I have full access to the dipstick without having to bend it upwards - not that it was a problem as it doesn't seem to burn any oil!

Inserting the foil under the bonnet
Hi,
Could any body tell me how to insert the noise reduction foil through the metal casing under the puma bonnet.
And also the approx. thickness of the foil+sponge if available? Cheers! Very Happy Very Happy

Diluk
