High gears in transfer box
Evening all

Anybody put higher gears in there puma transfer box??

If so what are the effects you have found & is it worth it??

Given that Pumas run higher geared axle diffs anyway, higher gears in the transfer box too would make it awfully overgeared. Darren

I know of people who have higher gears in 300s td5s etc

Just wondered what it would be like in pumas Chris

I thought they were all still 3.54?

What ratio are Puma axles then?

Ah sorry - my mistake. It's the transfer boxes that run the higher ratios, not the axles. Darren
