United Kingdom 2000 Defender 90 Td5 SW Caledonian Blue
Hello,

Although I have not driven on snow with the new Michelin XPC's I have fitted they are supposed to be pretty good in snow and ice.

I have the 7.50 r 16 flavour so are quite narrow increasing the load on each tyre and also the tread pattern helps the snow to stick to the tyre which in turn snow sticks to snow and more grip.

As said this is what I have read and have not experienced it yet, last years snow I was driving a Jeep Wrangler on 35" Kumho m/t's which were quite good in snow, but I suspect the trutracs front and rear were helping a lot.

Another bonus of the XPC's is they are standard fit so some people sell them on after fitting nicer wheels. ( Thanks Pob Thumbs Up )

Steve
