SOLD: 2002 (52) LandRover Defender 90 CSW Td5
For sale is my Java Black Defender 90 (Genuine) CSW. It currently has 81,000 miles on the clock. The vehicle currently has Tax until April 2013 and MOT until October 2012. I am the third owner of this vehicle and I have owned it since 2009. The vehicle comes with 2 keys & alarm Fobs, wallet and books, factory fitted A/C, electric windows, central locking with alarm system, Stainless Steel Tomb Raider Side Steps, spot lights, Soft A Bar, Front LR Rubber Floor Mats, Boost Alloy wheels with BFG AT Tyres, which were new last year and Multi Height Tow bar. I also Waxoyled the Chassis which is rust free. This truck has the newer Td5 dash and the later 15p Td5 engine. It has been a fantastic truck and I have enjoyed ownership, however I am looking to change for something faster for a while. The vehicle has FSH as detailed below:
24/10/2002 – 2956 miles – LR Dealer
05/06/2003 – 8610 miles – LR Dealer
03/06/2004 – 18,317 miles – LR Dealer
09/09/2005 – 25,192 miles – LR Dealer
2006 – 30,000 – Self Service – Previous Owner
2007 – 32,500 – Self Service – Previous Owner
2008 – 37,000 – Self Service – Previous Owner
21/04/2009 – 40,318 – Indy Garage
14/10/2009 – 41,701 – Defender Garage (I Purchased Vehicle From)
06/09/2010 – 52,509 – LR Indy Garage
11/07/2011 – 64,532 – LR Indy Garage
13/04/2012 – 75,944 – LR Indy Garage

In Addition to the features above, it also has a Genuine LR dog guard fitted, Patriot Roof Rack and Rear Ladder powder coated Black to match the truck, a IPod/Mp3 Stereo Upgrade with screen. I have also purchased the additional integrated Bluetooth module system which actually works in a Defender (Many cheap versions don’t) which links to telephone for calls and music over bluetooth.

I have the original sales invoice with list of options included and all invoices for services, spares and repairs carried out over the past three years.

Looking for around £11000 with options on the additions (Roofrack, stereo etc etc). If you would like any more information or pictures, please let me know.

Nice looking truck and good luck with the sale....
In my experience, 2 months in a fast car, driving like a K**b soon makes you want a Defender again...been there, done that...lots of times, usually woman related too !!
I hope you find a nice 90 after your 'moment' Thumbs Up

To be honest, your probably right. Wish i could keep it in a shed somewhere as i have it exactly how i want it, but cant afford to.

Your right about the women part too. Recentish split and made me want a change. I will be back in a 90 im sure! Current:D4 HSE

i agree with killer, bm and greeni,

i had a s2000 for 6 months and got bored with the cleaning and the faff, plus it was only a matter of time before i collected points or did something worse.

highly recommend tuning the nuts off it, with a sports exhaust and putting koni shocks on; it will feel totally transformed.
you could also put a softop on it in the summer months (always felt like i had 2 cars).

i miss my tuned td5 (now with uk land rovers)

Im sure i will see the light but i think i need to do it if you know what i mean. I still look at every defender i see like a school boy.

Funny your car choice is looking similar to what i have been looking at. S3, but thinking about a Z4M Coupe. Current:D4 HSE

I drove a z4 (normal ragtop, was the ex's) for a while, which resulted in me getting the z3m coupe, quick as hell with no traction control to bog you down, they really need another cog though (6th gear) and due to age, a lot on the Market need the suspension sorting as they feel a bit baggy !

The s3 was 'breathed upon' and although, again would show the boy racers in the Type R's a pair of heels, I could never get comfy in the damn thing....drove me mad.

The Z4m coupe is a nice car indeed, quite a rare beast. Thumbs Up
