I think you need to sell what you have and then go shopping for a 110.. no one on here is going to buy your vehicles and hand over a PAID FOR Defender to you.. You never said if your Audi was an A4 or A6 and if the rip off "webuyanycar" offered you that it must be worth £3-£4k more?? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Read the post and you will see Peanutbob is after a trade deal I too had an Audi A5 that i never used as i preferred to drive the Defender The new Puma`s are a lot better as an every day car and you will notice a big improvement in ride qualtity compared to the 90 |

By the way, from June 09 for 12 months if you join the NFU you qualify for 5pc discount on new Defenders, Freelanders, but seemingly Disco 3s not 4s (over and above what you have negotiated already) So, this swung the deal as whilst I was intending to go for a low mileage 09, the extra 5pc got me in a new one! Thanks for the info ref using Puma engined Defenders as an everyday car...you read my mind, Sonic3d
Definitely pleased to chop my Audi now. as it never gets used, even though it looks good, but every day I just got in the 90! By the way yr avatar is blooming distracting on this and the Disco site...can't really concentrate on a decent reply |

Hi Peanutbob Just wanted to confirm the above as I have been offered a good deal on a 110 XS SW, which I was going to order this week. If I join the NFU I receive another 5% over and above my existing deal. Any advice would be great. Many thanks |

Sully, that is correct. After negotiation I still needed another £1500 ish off the discounted price on a new 110 XS, which is when the NFU 5pc was mentioned, but apparently, even though I am insured with them, I'll still have to join the NFU which apparently will cost £180.00. Maybe I will get some of that back on future insurance discount for members...!?

Hi
I have just checked out the NFU website and you need to be a Farmers & Growers member and not just have a Countryside membership, ( Countryside membership is open to all), to qualify. Unfortunately I'm not. |
