normally the main beam should be set so that it is exactly horizontal. To do this find a piece of flat ground with a wall at one end. drive the vehicle up to the wall and put the lights on main an mark the centre of the beam on the wall. Reverse away for the wall at least 20m and check the height of the beam centre with the mark. Adjust as necessary. Dip beam is fixed in relationship to the main. if the main is right the dip beam will be also. Land Rovers are an addiction. Toyotas are for quitters.
