I chased the dealer yesterday and they sent a screenshot, I'm guessing it doesn't mean much and that was why they didn't share it until I asked.

Did anyone get this email direct from Land Rover? (with photo,s)
Ordered a 110 x dynamic HSE on 8 Feb and received this email on 23 March.
No news from the dealer.

Ordered my 90 D200 X-Dynamic 15th January… so far I have only received the information that the car is to be built before the factory holidays (from 15 June) at the latest. But I don't really understand the logic behind Crying or Very sad

I ordered a VW up in February 23, it was a dealer order ordered from the factory in Dec 22, I got it in Oct 23 so 10 months from the dealer ordering it and an 8 month wait for me! DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I got that before the build date, February I think, ordered the car in January, build date was 1st March. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

I chased the dealer yesterday and got a response today that they just had an update and the build is towards the end of the month, with delivery to the dealer end of May. I'm hoping to collect by 10th June

Thats for my p400 hse which was ordered 29th Feb.

Why there is no tracking system is beyond me!

my dealer principle was quite candid with me when I asked by there is no tracking system whilst waiting for my full fat. "we would only want a customer facing tracking system when it would reduce customer queries rather than generate them" in other words whilst production is not running smoothly they don't want customers checking their orders twice a day Laughing 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

Still no build date for my D250 XS ordered beginning of November.

Extras were only the Electric tow bar.

The dealer just phoned with the build and delivery dates. ordered on 8 Feb, build date 7 June and delivery date on 5 July. Thumbs Up

Just heard from my dealer that the factory has informed them that my Defender (ordered 14/2/24) is expected to be at the dealers mid June.

Do LR keep UK lead time long to stimulate demand and price.

A neighbour, who currently drives a Porsche - wife has Evoque, went to purchase a Defender, when quoted current lead times ........... he just bought another Porsche.
