Ignition feeds
On a puma ignition barrel there is a white and white with orange, iirc, ignition feed.

The white wire is pos II live
The white and orange is pos I live.

What's the difference?

Do both pos I and II keep 12v when cranking? Cheers

The lower switch postitions will keep 12v when a higher pos is selected, if that's the question?
white-orange is 12v for radio etc., white is ignition live, white-red is crank,

Cheers

I was wondering if one of those two ign feeds had a greater priority. Ie I need a 12v ign feed that prioritises for a fuel pump and doesn't drop, as much, when cranking. Cheers

This is how the fuel pump is wired in a factory V8 of 300Tdi vintage -

I've copied this circuit diagram for harnesses that I've made for 200Tdi / 300Tdi to V8 conversions.

I have also taken it from the white feed.

Thank you. Cheers
