On line pack subscription renewal. What does it provide?
Morning, I've had the following email from Land Rover saying the subscription for my "on line pack" needs renewing, I'm struggling to see what this actually provides, I don't have Wi-Fi hotspot enabled and the cars is only 10 months old so I've still got a couple of years to run on the Tracker.
So can any one confirm what this is for or what I might lose by failing to renew. Thanks.

Open the Remote app, from the Home page hit More, then Subscriptions. Those you have are listed together with their expiry dates.

My Secure Tracker Pro was only ‘free’ for the first year.

Thanks for the reply's, I'm away from home at the moment but will have a better look when I get back.
As I said I don't think its for the Tracker as I've got a couple of years to run on that, when I click on the link in the email I get forwarded to the following and looking at that and it looks like I don't really lose much, I don't have Wi-fi hotspot enabled as I connect via my phone. The cost is £120 so £10 a month for something I'm not really sure I need.

I think it's for things like using apps like Spotify through Pivi Pro (rather than carplay/android auto) and the weather.
Also possibly using the remote app for locking/unlocking/remote start. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

I assumed, as above, that what you are paying for is the connection to the onboard sim - akin to paying for a mobile phone contract.

Hi,

Be advised, renewing your online subscription including secure tracker / secure tracker pro DOES NOT renew your map updates.

That is a separate thing @ £90 per year.

As stated, check the “subscriptions” tab in the remote App to see what expires and when.

Well checked the subscription tabs as recommended and this is what it show, also can't see anything that mentions map subscriptions. I'm not convinced I really need Media streaming and weather updates but I've got to go into the dealer in a couple of weeks for the security update, I'll see what they've got to say about it then.

Hi,

“connected Navigation Pro” is the item that is separate from Incontrol remote and secure tracker/tracker pro.

You are still on the original three year subscription but if you notice, two services have the same date and the Nav is a day earlier.

To update them all in 2026, you will have to buy two subscriptions, remote / tracker & Nav.
