Well that is 14 minutes 20 seconds of not telling you anything much about what the Uniclutch is!

As far as I can see from the website it is a relatively simple twin-disc clutch, essentially as used in heavy machinery for decades, but smaller and with some added complexity to allow it to fit into spaces not designed to accommodate a twin-disk clutch.

It is very unclear both in the video and on the website how the angular damping is achieved, which for fitment in a clutch-eater like a TDCi would be a matter of key interest.

It does however look and interesting product, I'll bet not cheap, and it will be interesting to hear feedback from anyone who's gone down this route.

It was announced in October 2023 that it was to be launched in the UK exclusively through parts distributor Alliance Automotive Group (AAG).

Yes apologies for the clip, I couldn’t find a better one.
Price looks to be £425, £550 and £690 depending on version, although the cheapest version looks most appropriate for a Puma if maximum torque figures are to be believed.

The logic seems sound but as you rightly point out application is key. One would have thought that if it works as advertised then the Defender would be an ideal vehicle for it and the company would be keen to get some samples out to the LR specialists to road test. WARNING.
