I saw that in another article earlier…

Can’t get excited, the only positive is that the front bumper doesn’t look like something that you would transport a carcass on.

Looks more like a toy G Wagon for one of the Beckham sprogs….

Unfortunately as the tide is slowly turning away from poor range EV’s and SUV’s in cities companies like Ineos and even JLR will have to build low slung, low profile cars if they want to survive.

Even over the last six weeks as a snap shot of what’s on the roads around here Jaguars are almost extinct and if it wasn’t for Defenders, Defender classics and the odd Discovery 4 and 5’s you wouldn’t even see the Land Rover badge.

And this is before the subject of EV depreciation comes up, it’s another toy for the rich, if it gets that far.

Only if they want to make SUVs for misguided yuppies. JLR has gone down this route, hopefully Ineos will remain true to its origins and make a success of the last proper 4x4 by far.

There's nothing really misguided about buying a Land Rover product, if that's what you want.

Apparently it is what people want, according to car manufacturers who are moving to big cars and SUV's.
And the sales figures will bear this out.
