That is an interesting find. Judging by the price, it seems to be a rare thing. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

When I rebuilt my 2.2 in a not spotless facility. (Back garden) I bought 4 filters and 30l of oil. Normal oil. First change after 50miles. Second at 1000. Third at 5000 then back to 8-10000 intervals. I’ve done 17000 miles on it in 11 months. Towed a max weight trailer yesterday for 250 miles from north wales and absolutely flew home.
First 1000 miles I tried to keep it off the turbo as it just felt right to be gentle so very low revs. Now confidence is back it gets fully thrashed

Once they are broken in I think it does Diesels good to have a good run and driven hard occasionally within reason.
Which blows everything through, probably even more important with a 2.2 due to the DPF. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧
