Td5 Airbox upgrade.
Has anyone got the upgraded Alisport td5 airbox set-up? Opinions? Any others on the market worth considering?

It’s a nice piece of kit and I’d not knock anyone for buying it but the section from the wing to airbox is the first point of restriction. I’d be interested to see if anyone has addressed that section.

Yes I noticed that too, they have a version for the Tdci now with better ducting to the wing and wondered is it available for the td5 set-up?

I have it fitted and it’s a lovely piece of kit. I’ve replaced the ducting from the wing with 4” duct. Charlie

I can get some photos at some stage, but it requires an adaptor to be fabricated for the wing. From the wing, it is a series of 4” ducting pieces, silicone elbows, stainless joiners, and a silicone reducer into the air filter housing. Charlie

Thank you, interesting stuff. Now if only someone offered an adaptor off the wing it’d help save some head scratching.

I think the 3D printed Allisport wing "adapter" looks pretty good, if they will sell it separately?

Mine is all standard parts, nothing special Thumbs Up

The large flexi came from either AP Motorstore or Auto Silicone Hoses, I have also used FMIC.PL for Silicone and aluminium pipes
