Many thanks for the input. Mind if I ask what you do with yours while not on trips? Do you leave it running off the car? Also do you run it off a leisure battery? I currently just got it sitting powered in the house as I still haven't got around to building it's little space in the vehicle. I got a leisure battery with a battery monitors so was hoping to just leave it running in the vehicle, especially as generally I don't go more than 5-6 days without using the vehicle to top up the battery. So far I'm very impressed though, despite being the 35l option it feels more that big enough to store food and drink for any trips I'd go on. Nice and quiet too as I will be sleeping with my head almost right next to it Laughing 1999 Land Rover Defender 110 td5 station wagon

I used to keep my Waeco 55l running in my Discovery. I now keep it and my Engle in the garage switched off but with the lids open. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Did you have any problems keeping it running while it was there? How long would you leave it running off the battery? 1999 Land Rover Defender 110 td5 station wagon

The car was used all the time so battery was never an issue. Great for shopping and putting cold things in , particularly in our French home at the height of summer. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.
