Cheers Jon. The weight would interest me too. I certainly started out with a plan to keep it as light as possible. If I had access to unlimited supplies of steel in different sizes I would have continued down that path. However I had to be pragmatic and use what was to hand to keep costs in hand so I guess it may be 50 kilos heavier than it could be. Even so, it is pretty minimalist, has the shallower disco chassis (compared to a defender) and nothing on there that isn't needed. I am guessing it will come in around 1500 kgs, maybe a bit under??
