Webasto sunroof
Evening all
As expected my sunroof leaks.
It’s currently siliconed shut. Thinking of changing it for a new one or even a double glazed unit as I never open it as I have air con.
Do you think it’s factory installed or aftermarket .
Is there anyway of finding the build sheet for the car ?

It looks very similar to one that was fitted to my 100".

Lift the glass out and clean the seal really well, if the front two 'tongues' unscrew from the glass remove them, flatten them a very small amount to increase the pressure on the rubber, put a thin smear of vaseline on the rubber and refit and test.

If you open it you will have to remember to clean and regrease the seal periodically.

I’ve tried resealing it which between metal and frame is fine but water gets between glass and rubber . Tried cleaning and greasing to no avail.
Want to either replace with same or a double glazed option.

I've always had positive results using silicone pipe grease on the rubber gasket

It would be worth contacting someone like https://www.bristolsunroofs.co.uk/index.php as they will be able to direct you a bit better.

Installed the double glazed unit from VGS
Looks great.
Glazing silicone supplied was awful stuff to use but did the trick
