[WANTED] TD5 Heritage/50th D90 twin tubed side steps
Hey

I am looking for a pair of twin tubed TD5 ideally HERITAGE, or 50th anniversary twin tubed side steps for my D90. I think they are specific to the TD5 vehicles.

They are not available now, checked all regular spares and parts places.

I have attached photos of a perfect match.

DM me or reply to this post if you are able to help.

Cheers in advance

If my memory is correct, I don’t think the 50th anniversary Defenders had that style of side steps as in your photo.

There is some on ebay in black with the plastic tread plates. Says they are for puma but will fit td5 no problem. I restored a heritage and got a set of these, removed the plastic treads and the heritage alloy plates fit perfect. I got them powder coated in the grey finish.

Hi ginjez

I have had a look at eBay and can not see the ones mentioned (can you send link). Unfortunately though I don’t have the original pair, they were discarded by the previous owner, so can not reuse them!

I think they did come in a black finish also around this time for the td5’s. So I am happy with any finish, and can get powder coated.

Cheers

These are the exact same steps on my 50th albeit without the cheque plate but I'm sure a sheet metal fabricator would be able to roll you some.
The steps are available through britpart in black but make sure you fill the tubes with cavity wax as they rot out very quickly.
I'd love to see more pics of Atlantic green heritage - it's my fave.
