PUMA Owners - Does yours do this at startup?
Curious if this is "Normal" or not. Apparently it's supposed to be "Normal" on the MY09 PUMA engined defenders.

Next time you start yours - can you please try this procedure?

1 - Make sure engine is COLD, or has not been running for at least 2 hours.
2 - Get in and start engine
3 - Immediately raise the revs to 1100 or 1000 or anything just above idle and hold for 1 minute

Does yours miss and run very roughly , and blow lots of white smoke?

To me this sounds like a sticking or leaking injector. But apparently as the dedaler said - they all do it, all of their demo's and the customers PUMA's that were in for a service. Seems a strange design feature to provide - although might come in handy for those wartime situations where you need a smoke screen.
