Soundbar as a soundsystem
Would it be pure madness or might it actually randomly be a decent idea? Mounting it to the bulkhead behind the seats in a td5 110? Theyre such nice packages, bar a few tweets and a sub, it could be very convenient. Powersupplies might need replacing. Outside of that it would be simple enough.

Cant see why not.

If you watch Roaming Reckless on YouTube, she drives an ex British Army Defender and has a cylinder style speaker on the dash in front of the steering wheel.

Sound bars do give a full sound so worth an experiment.

Powersupply is quite easy really, just buy a 12v 240v inverter, small one should be fine around 300w, just make sure it's a good quality one and critically pure-sine or you'll hear the tone of the inversion in the sonics of the sound bar. Of course if it's a native 12v sound bar you're laughing....

I have a pretty decent soundbar on my PC monitor. Worth trying in a car as it's USB powered. From Dell but I'm sure there are others. Not sure how well it would work with other speakers.
