Im broken down at Lancaster services M6 Notthbound.
Vehicle won’t start.

Key out the red immobiliser light is flashing slowly.

Key in and ignition on the light is on solid. When I try to start the engine nothing happens at all

Alarm fob did nothing at all, changed the battery, still nothing, still no start.

I suspect a blown 10AS fuse. If you had central locking I would suspect a broken wire between a second row door and the b post. However you may still have the wiring even if no central looking.
So check 10AS fuses and if a replacement blows then check door wiring.

Ps when you changed the fob battery (CR2032) did you check there is no clear plastic insulator left on the battery for transit ( it’s happened before) .

Also have you re synced the fob, it may have lost sync. Process - with doors shut press lock 4/5 times in quick succession, then unlock once

If not fuses or fob battery then remove Instrument cluster , remove wiring connector, shunt (use wire , paper clip etc to bridge ) pins 3 and 4 and see if engine starts. If it does it’s the cluster pcp . This is only on the 2.4
