1997 LR D90 - Alarm goes off when reconnecting the battery..
The battery in my 1997 Defender 90 died. I took the battery off to have it charged. It wasn't fully charged when I picked it up. When I reconnect it, the alarm goes off. I put the battery on a trickle charger thinking that it would fully charge the battery. I tried reconnecting it and the alarm goes off.

I got a brand-new battery and the alarm still goes off. I can't shift it into neutral to get it out of the garage to get it towed, to a mechanic or dealer to take care of it.

I don't have a key fob for it, just keys w/o any electronics in it.
