Steering wheel indicator operation?
Hi all

My 63 plate Defender Puma 90 has a genuine Land Rover steering wheel with the 2 prongs on the back to operate the indicators. There is also a blue plastic collar on the steering shaft that the prongs fit into.

What year did Land Rover start using the steering wheel sensors where there was no requirement for a steering wheel with prongs?

This is when the DSC equipped defenders were launched , which was during 2015.

I'm pretty sure my 2008 Puma has the same setup.
