I'm not seeing the drive plate for the crankshaft pulley in the photo, it is included?
It looks as though the brackets are for the 2286cc engine, can you confirm? Thanks. |

I've ordered a socket to remove the front crank pulley with the receiving end of the drive mechanism.

The bolt holding the drive plate to the pulley (which also holds the pulley on the crank) is strictly also part of the winch kit, since it has a plain hex head allowing it to fit inside the bell-shaped drive coupling. The original pre-winch bolt would have incorporated the dog for the starting handle. With the drive plate and bolt you'd be selling a 100% complete kit, which is quite rare and desirable now. The fact that is has the earlier alloy fairlead roller brackets, and in decent condition, is a bonus.
As far as I recall the front cover is the same for the petrol and diesel versions of the 2286cc engine so this should fit either. Overall I reckon it is a bargain at the price your asking (which is less than I paid a couple of years ago for one in much worse condition). |
