Oxygen sensor
Hi-

I have a P400 90 X-Dyn SE, 30k mi.

Check engine light came on first time the other day. I have an OBD-II Bluetooth sender so checked it out. It came back with an O2 sensor fault. I don’t remember the code atm. I cleared the light but it’s a permanent fault. Car runs fine, I cannot tell there is any issue driving or performance or by gas mileage.

I will call LR local dealer. I suppose it would be under warranty still. I wonder if anyone has had an O2 sensor issue? If it’s common or rare? If it’s easily taken care of under warranty or your experience generally?

Thanks,
-Jim

interesting enough today i just spoke to a fellow P400 owner in North QLD who has had his
Oxygen sensor replaced after 3 trips to the dealer over 9 months, same issue with the check
engine light sometime appearing and sometimes not. I will try and get some more
info out of him when i catch up tomorrow as i am dropping mine off at the same dealer for its
104K service (had 4 interim and that will be its 4th major) yet another pommie bar steward down under
