United Kingdom 1997 Defender 90 300 Tdi HT Oslo Blue
[For Sale] T-Max Split Charge System
Hi folks, I've just removed my faithful T-Max split charge system so I can fit a solar compatible system. It's been in my Defender 90 for about 4 years and has been faultless in all the time I've had it. The relay was fitted in the battery box and the monitor was fitted on my dash with the cables running out of the box, along the outside of the bulkhead and back in through one of the bulkhead loom seals to the dash. For reference there's 7ft (2m+) of cable from the relay to the monitor and 6ft (1.8m) of cable to the earth wire...this will drop straight in to a Defender with a conventional battery box set-up.

It's a very simple and effective system, you only need to connect one small earth wire and the positives to both batteries and you're good to go. You can use the monitor to see what the state of you batteries is using a graduated red/yellow/green LED system and you can manually link the 2 batteries using the button on the monitor but it also links the batteries automatically as needed.

It's been used (but not abused!) and is in perfect working order, although the yellow colour on the monitor is a little faded. The first photo is of everything you'll get, the second is of it fitted in my battery box just before I removed it yesterday. I'm looking for £50 plus postage in the UK (probably around £5) or you're welcome to collect from North Bristol (BS16) if that works for you. Let me know if you have any questions.
