Two presses to unlock
My Puma has started requiring me to press the fob twice to remote unlock, and the indicators dont flash. Does this signify anything?

It locks as normal with a single press and indicators flash. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

It means the fob battery is low,. At some point, as an additional indicator that the fob battery is low , the red Alarm light on the dash that blinks when alarm is activated stays on as a solid non blinking light even when alarm disarmed and engine running.

You need a quality genuine CR2032 battery, I.e Panasonic or Varta.

Change battery and re sync - With the doors shut press lock four times in quick succession, then unlock once , doors should unlock and all be back to normal.
