Key not recognized
So I had to use my spare key today. The car is less than 12 months old. The key opened the car but wasn't recognized when when came to start her up. I had to place the key against the steering column to start her. Problem is i kept getting a call from Land Rover to check my car hadn't been stolen. Is there any way to reset the key? Could I delete the key and add again using the Gap IID tool?

you wrote: "I had to place the key against the steering column to start her." This means the key is still recognized.
I would suggest, as a first step, to replace the battery in the key. If that doesn't help, then I'm afraid that the electronics inside the key got somehow damaged. 25.5MY 110 P300e Carpathian grey

What make of battery did you use? It needs to be of the correct power output like Duracell versions .
