My random thoughts.
Unfortunately the Nanocom can have the odd bug, so it could well be a software issue. How about raising the issue on the Nanocom forum to see what blackbox solution say. They can take their time but they do eventually respond. Mine is a 2013 Puma with a Bosch not Wabco ABS, else I would try to see if I get the same results as you. Do you have anyone nearby with a 2.4 Puma that you can see if the same issue exists using your Nanocom. Perhaps another member with a 2.4 and a Nanocom can see if they get the same results. If others see the same issue then that does point to the Nanocom being at fault and if several users raise the issue on the Nanocom forum they tend to prioritise a fix and software upgrade. Ps. Do you have the latest software loaded, if not they may well have spotted and already fixed the problem if it is their software, a long shot but nothing ventured nothing gained. It gives connector wiring pins etc so you can do some quick continuity checks |

You’ve got me thinking now, as I had a left/right confusion on the Nanocom when doing the power bleed…
I was set up at the left caliper with my bleeding kit and nothing happened, so I checked the right caliper and it was pumping fluid out. The Nanocom was indicating left caliper… Is it something as basic as which way you are looking at the vehicle… Sorry if that’s bonkers - it isn’t unusual for me to be called that… |

most commonly you would make "left" or "right" as you sit in the vehicle............

I agree but something is niggling me to suggest that the Nanocom thinking might not align…
It’s quite a while ago now. And it could easily have been me 🤪 |

I can understand a potential left right confusion, however the OP reported turning the left front and the Nanocom reporting it as the rear right ! So something is obviously wrong , even if it’s a front rear issue.
Screbble, would you be able to rotate your front nearside wheel and advise what the Nanocom reports as the moving wheel. That would help us know if it’s the same as Bluest is seeing. |

Thanks all for your thoughts. In terms of left/right I'm looking at as from the drivers seat. So left front is front near side on a RHD car.
Funny you should mention problems with the power bleed. I have previous been unable to get that to work. Maybe my Nanocom was activating the wrong one then too?... 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS |

That sort of quirk is far from unknown with Nanocom software unfortunately.

Oh yes sorry I didn’t have my glasses on so didn’t pick the front/rear point! I’ll plug in the Nanocom after lunch and see what is what 👍 |

Maybe a firmware update for the Nanocom might be in order. Ive not done that for a good few years. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Ok…
I rotated the near side front wheel (RHD/UK) and the Nanocom (wheel speed) read that as front left - so all as it should be. I checked the others out of curiosity and all as expected. What I didn’t do (today) is check the power bleed - as that is where ‘my’ confusion originated - and I think that may still be something for me to look into at some point. But not today! Hope that helps 👍 |

Now here’s another thought - certainly on the rear ABS sensors, there’s the potential to ‘cross them over’ at the in line connections along the o/s chassis rail adjacent to the brake pipes. Obviously you’d have to be disconnecting them to say replace the rear sensors to then re-connect them up incorrectly.
I don’t think you can do that on the front due to the cable routes. Just a thought… |

Well done Screbble, looks like the Nanocom if reporting correctly on wheel rotation and by left they mean nearside, which is good.
So I suspect Bluest upgrading the Nanocom to ver1.40 will fix the issues as you can see how the rear sensor wiring could get crossed but not the front, unless it was done on the connector, which would be unlikely, but not impossible for JLR  |

The instructions are online and you do it by connecting it to a laptop with a USB cable. I think they have a YouTube video walking through it. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
