they won't fail on a "cosmetic" issue but obviously if they are corrosion compromised then for your own safety as well as MOT's then they need to be correct

I’d just prep and give them a quick prime and satin black, if not perfect they’ll be protected for when you’ll be able to do a tidier job at a later date if you wanted. ____\We|Will|Win/___
