[No longer available] Optimill 2nd row Hinges in silver
Would anyone one like to swap a set of secnod row door hinges in Silver (still in packaging as in photo for a black set (in good but not necessarily new condition).

They are the only ones I could get in time for putting the doors on in the next week but I thought I would see if someone wants to swap before I refinish them.

I have now refinished these in black to fit the theme of the refinish on the Defender. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green- Slowly Turning into Keswick Green - It's a keeper.

How did you go about it? I've got black ones now but they could do with re doing as they have a purple tinge to them now.

This is what I did but no idea how well it will last.

800 grit wet and dry just to provide a bit of a key for the etch primer (aerosol) and then two coats of satin black from an aerosol.

They look pretty decent but only time will tell if it is stuck well. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green- Slowly Turning into Keswick Green - It's a keeper.

I was thinking about stripping them down and getting them re anodised but don't know how easy they will come apart.
