P400e starting but shutting down on gear select

Hey folks,

New (to me) defender owner here, and unfortunately after about 2 weeks of ownership my Defender 110 refused to move. I'd start the car as normal, and shift to drive, reverse or neutral and the car would begin shut down.

It's with a JLR dealer being worked on but they're having trouble diagnosing the problem. Has anyone had this happen before? Any help appreciated!
