The top hinge on my rear door has seized up. It's only 2 years old, genuine LR, so not impressed right now. I've added loads of penetrating oil but it's still very stiff. Looks like the washer in the middle has rusted. I can't see a way to disassemble and replace the washer or pin. Am I wasting my time trying to fix this? Is it time to bit the bullet and just buy better hinges? I already have optimil on the front and middle doors. Didn't replace the rears at the time just to save money. Then a garage doing some other body work replaced them for original as the pin failed while they worked on something else. |
