Door seals and door alignment
I bought a genuine LR door seal to replace the current drivers side door seal but like the aftermarket one I had previously purchased and then sent back as the door seal didn't meet the door properly and let light in on the B post side of the door, the genuine LR ones does the same.

The current seal I have now does meet the door but I think only just.

This got me pondering the door alignment might be out.

The door hip is a fraction lower than the B pillar hip and then top right angled part of the door frame is closer to the windscreen frame than lower down.

The joy of so many adjustable bits.

Is there a diagram showing factory measurements for the door so I can compare and see how far out I am ?

For those who watch 'Maximus Iron Thumper' on Youtube, I am sure he did something similar when building 'kermit' his series 3 and referred to a WSM for the dimensions.

Cheers 1999 Defender TD5 110
