Removing County Stripes - 1995 CSW
A question for the knowledgeable people on here....

I am planning on a repaint and need to remove the County Stripes down thes sides(also the TDi etc) from my 1995 CSW.

Can this be done like normal vinyl stickers (heat and care with a plastic scraper) or is another method required due to the age of the existing stickers? 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper.

I removed a set from a 96 Epsom Green last week, had to use a decal removal wheel in a drill.

Little heat will do the job. Mine were extremely weathered, with over 30 years in baking sun, and they pulled off easily. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Thanks chaps.

I'll start with the heat and peel method (when it comes to it) and if that fails I will pick up the removal wheel.

On the subject of the wheel are there any go to ones or conversely steer well clear off versions? 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper.
