After 3 1/2 years, the time has come to move Ron on for a new daily.
110 XS Utility with all the usual spec such as AC, carpet, Alpine head unit etc. 2.2 diesel. N1 rated on the V5 with road tax sub £300 (from memory). I’ve used Ron for everything in life from school runs, commutes, road trips and everything in between and therefore the approach has always been to fix everything that needs fixing to make sure he runs every day without objection. Off road in my hands has been light field work and some towing; never green laned, bog dived or deep water dunked. One owner before me and now on 99k miles, most of which I’ve done. Used daily so will continue to climb. Not modified in the garish sense but plenty of cash spent on required and nice stuff including: Ashcroft gearbox LOF clutch and updated output shaft High pressure field pump, fuel cooler, inlet manifold, cam position sensors and plenty of other stuff replaced Full Dinitrol application to chassis and everything you’d want it on on the underside Flatdog rack Lightbar All LED lights including headlights Bilstein shocks Billet Exmoor Trim hinges Uproar stainless front bumper Soundproofed throughout Carpet side panels to load area LED rear work light Momo steering wheel Black metal interior door handles Fat n squishy cubby lid! I’m sure there’s more I’ve forgotten! Full service history with main dealer under previous owner, whilst MID and Newbury 4x4 have done all the work for me. Service schedule always a bit ahead of schedule. MOT to the end of the year Body work is pretty good. It’s 15 years old so there are chips and scuffs, but he polishes up pretty well in my opinion. £22.5k and you get a sorted truck. Happy to answer any questions.
