LED's generally don't work for long as sidelights when combined in the same lamp with the dip/main beam. The heat generated by the main lamp means that the LED has to work way outside its design spec.

cheers for the info pete i did think about this as it is a lot for such a small light, im not a hardcore night driver so i only have the lights on from work to home about 10 mins away and then if i did ever need to go night driving will see how good they really

They make us do a week long (1 on 1) course in the first instance, then 3 yearly refresher's. I'm sure you appreciate, it's not just a case of driving faster when you have blue lights on ![]() 2011 110 XS DC Stornoway Grey |
